The Mil-Spec Sport Sock shares specifications with U.S. Military socks: they're built with anti-microbial silver filament yarn. The silver knit into the heel, toe and sole is proven to kill bacteria and promote moisture migration. The silver is game-changing. These socks are tough. We made a slight change to the "Mil-Spec" design, adding a compression band on the foot for additional performance, comfort, and arch support. But we can't say enough about the stink stopping silver. It really makes a difference. We aren't kidding about this sock being tough as nails. We gave it to some hard wearing friends and said “do your thing." The results? This sock stood up to heavy-use hiking, trail running, biking, and outdoor activity. But the real test? Cement work.
